Most to-do apps either do too little or bury today’s work under everything else. Doneso started as ArianHQ, a private task manager, and was rebuilt as its own public app after a friend asked to use it. Anyone can sign up for free, and there are no ads and no tracking.

The Today page shows overdue, due-today and in-progress tasks in one list, with one-tap “→ Tomorrow” snoozing and a “Done today” log. Everything else goes on a board grouped by color-coded categories. Quick add understands plain typing: “Pay rent every 1st #Bills !high” sets the category, priority and a repeating due date in one line.

It also does what people expect from a paid app. Categories can be shared through an invite link, which works for a grocery list with a partner or chores with roommates. Reminders and a morning summary arrive as notifications or email. Tasks can be ticked off and edited offline and sync once you’re back online, and deleted items wait 30 days before they’re gone.

It’s hand-coded in PHP, SQLite and JavaScript, with no frameworks. Push notifications and Sign in with Apple are written from scratch. It installs to the Home Screen like an app, and a native iPhone version is on its way to the App Store.
